The Director, Operations Excellence will be responsible for driving business transformation through the implementation of Operational Excellence tools and culture.
Educate stakeholders at all levels in the tools and principles of Operational Excellence including, but not limited to 5S, Structured Problem Solving, Tiered Communications, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, OPEX Leadership, and Maintenance Excellence. Partner with the VP of Operations to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Develop an OPEX roadmap for Renaissance Operations. Drive focused business transformation through dedicated change teams or Kaizen events. Quantify business performance through KPI's (including OEE, OPE, and RFT) and demonstrate continuous improvement. Provide coaching to shop floor employees, supervisors, and leadership through GEMBA Walks, 1:1, and group interactions. Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, reducing overall operating costs and Quality. Assist with training of operations and maintenance personnel as needed. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
B.S. degree in a related field. A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience driving Operational Excellence or Lean Transformation. Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Experience is preferred. Formal Training in Operational Excellence, Lean or Six Sigma. Proven track record of leading operational improvement. Excellent Communication, Collaboration and Influencing Skills.
